I've known Jackson's mom, Angela since junior high. She contacted me for Jackson's senior photos. In order to squeeze them in between Jackson playing baseball, football, working and homecoming (this kid is seriously busy) we had to be up at Red Rocks at 6:45am. Let's repeat, he had homecoming the night before! I really thought Jackson was such a sweet and kind person. He totally didn't kill me for doing a sunrise photo shoot and showed off that killer smile the whole time.
It was an adventure and it was so good to see Angela again after many years. I have to say that is one of the many things that I have really loved about my job this year is to see old friends again. It is so amazing that I get to reconnect with so many people in my life I haven't seen in a really long time. And I love that people don't change, it makes me smile. I loved watching Angela mother Jackson, she was the same to him as she was to me and she was cracking me up the whole time. I would tell Jackson to look out to the distance and she would yell, "Ya! Look out, contemplate your future." Her razzing him, would always make Jackson smile. You can tell they have a great relationship.
