Have you ever accidentally sent a total stranger a friend request on Facebook? You get the notification that they have accepted your request and panic. Oh no! Who are they? They probably think you are a total psycho. Well this is awkward. Then you realize you have so much in common with this stranger, start liking their posts and realize you actually want to know them more. No? That's only me? Well, this is what happened to me when I accidentally requested Michele.
Michele and I have come to get to know each other through Facebook in the last few years, although I have never actually met this amazing women, until she reached out to me take her daughter's senior photos. I was absolutely thrilled! Thrilled she liked my work and thrilled that I would finally get to meet her and her beautiful daughter I've seen from all of her posts.
I met Alyea and immediately I was absolutely pulled in by her. She has a 1,000,000 watt smile and her amazing light just pours from her. She is gorgeous and confident, everything I wasn't at her age. She is also incredibly kind and smart, and she struck me as a strong, and amazing force. (So look out world!) She wanted a downtown Denver feel for her portraits so we traveled down to Commons Park. It has been a few years since I have explored this part of town and it was a great reminder how much has changed in Denver in a short amount of time. Alyea was a natural in front of the camera and I honestly could have taken her photos for hours.
Thank you so much for letting me take your photos Alyea! It was my absolute pleasure to be apart of this experience and I cannot wait to see what is in store for you! Michele, thank you for being kind and accepting a stranger's friend request!!
